About#

@sigx/lynx-zero-legacy is the design-system foundation that @sigx/lynx-zero was up to lynx 0.27. In lynx 0.28 it took this name, and @sigx/lynx-zero was rebuilt on the zero contract. The code is the same as before the rename.

It is frozen: it gets fixes only, no new features, and it is wound down once the zero-contract stack reaches component parity. Two design systems still build on it, @sigx/lynx-daisyui and @sigx/lynx-heroui, and they re-export what they use from it. An app on either one normally never imports this package directly.

What it holds:

  • The props/token contract: SizeScale, ColorVariant, ColorToken, and prop fragments such as WithColor, WithDisabled and PressEvent.
  • The palette theme engine: registerTheme with full palettes, ThemeProvider, themeController, StatusBarSync, and useThemeColors for native widgets.
  • The Tailwind preset (./preset) and the .lynx-zero token stylesheet (./styles/tokens.css).
  • Layout primitives (Row, Col, Center, Spacer, ScrollView) and SwiperIndicator.

It is versioned in lockstep with the rest of the Lynx module family.
